Draft Replies With AI (and Auto-Suggest) in Messello

Messello AI can draft a reply for you in one click. Open any conversation and use the ✨ Draft with AI button in the reply box. The AI reads the thread and your imported help center, then writes a suggested answer in the composer — ready for you to review, edit, and send.

Draft a reply with AI

  1. Open a conversation in app.messello.com.
  2. Click ✨ Draft with AI in the reply editor.
  3. Read the generated draft. Edit anything that needs adjusting.
  4. Send when it's right, or regenerate for a different take.

Because drafts are grounded in your help center (RAG), the AI pulls from your real content instead of inventing answers. If it can't find a grounded answer, it will say so rather than guess.

Turn on auto-suggest

Auto-suggest goes a step further: as new customer messages arrive, Messello AI proposes a reply automatically and posts it as an internal note — visible only to your team, never to the customer.

  1. Open Account settings → AI.
  2. Enable Auto-suggest replies.
  3. Save.

Agents can then accept the suggestion, tweak the wording, or ignore it entirely. Nothing goes to the customer until a human sends it.
