This guide gives you a quick tour of the Messello dashboard so you can find and answer conversations with confidence. The layout has three main parts: the conversation list, the conversation view, and the contact panel.
On the left, the conversation list shows incoming threads from all your connected channels. Each row shows the contact, a preview of the last message, the channel icon, and how long it's been waiting. Click any row to open it. You can filter and sort the list, and use the search box to find a specific person or message.
Every conversation has a status, shown as tabs above the list:
Use the status button inside a conversation to move it between these states.
The center panel is the conversation view — the full message thread with that contact. Type your reply in the box at the bottom, add attachments, or insert a canned response. You can also add a private note that only teammates see, assign the conversation to an agent, and apply labels to categorize it.
On the right, the contact panel shows who you're talking to: their name, contact details, which channel they used, and their past conversations. Use it to add context, update contact fields, or check history before you reply — no need to leave the screen.
If you've connected several channels, each is its own inbox. Use the sidebar on the far left to switch between a combined view and a specific inbox (for example, only WhatsApp or only live chat). This helps teams focus on one channel at a time while everything still lives in one place.
