Set up your profile, notifications, and availability

Your personal settings live under Profile settings, opened from your avatar in the bottom-left corner at app.messello.com. There you update your profile, control notifications, and set your availability.

Update your profile

  1. Click your avatar and choose Profile settings.
  2. Edit your display name, profile photo, and signature (added to your replies).
  3. Update your email or password in the same section.
  4. Click Save.

Your name and photo appear to teammates on assignments and internal notes, so keep them recognizable.

Choose your notification preferences

Under Profile settings → Notifications, pick how you want to be alerted for events like new assignments, mentions, and new conversations:

  • Email notifications — good for catching up when you're away from the app.
  • Push notifications — real-time alerts in your browser or the Messello app, best for staying on top of live conversations.

Turn each type on or off per event so you only get the alerts that matter. If push notifications don't appear, allow notifications for app.messello.com in your browser or device settings.

Set your availability

Your availability tells Messello whether to route new conversations to you. Set it from the status menu next to your avatar:

  • Online — you're active and eligible for auto-assignment.
  • Busy — you're signed in but shouldn't receive new auto-assignments.
  • Offline — you won't be assigned new conversations.

Messello can also update your status automatically based on activity, so it reflects when you step away.

Tip: If you handle work on the go, enable push notifications and keep your status accurate so conversations reach the right person quickly.
